“ I am here to welcome you in this evening in this my native place of Kannur and under the shadow of the PROPHET Sayyiduna Va muallimuna Mohammed Bin Abdullah (Sallallahu Alaivasallam – SAW), once again. I am here to speak on the” Maulid Annbai” for the brothers and sisters who do speak my mother tongue language of Malayalam. It is very important to celebrate the birthday of the PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAW) because the PROPHET (SAW) is mercy to everybody, whether you know it or don’t know it and it is worthwhile to spend some of your time in every day, if you can., If not, atleast once in a year, to celebrate the “Master of Mankind”.

This gathering, the result of which the people of Kannur and around the world, is to remember Prophet Mohamed’s (Sallallahu Alaivasallam) birth month and to meet for no other reason except for the sake of getting rewards from Allahu Subahanuwataala. We are here for that, for the sake of Allah, not for any other purpose, not for Dunya, the worldly things, and but for Akhira, (Life after death of life Hereafter) So, I am congratulating all of you, on this occasion and also, I am giving you good tidings from the PROPHET (SAW).

Once, Prophet Mohammed (SAW) was asked by one of his companions, “When is the Last Day, the Day of Judgment?” and the PROPHET (SAW) asked the man, “What did you do? Are you ready for it?” The man said, “Really, I did not do many good deeds for the preparation of Last Day, but I have the love of the PROPHET Ya Habeebi Ya Rasoolullah (SAW)” The PROPHET (SAW) said, “Everybody is going to be with whom he loves on the Day of Judgment.” Congratulations, and from that position to all of you, may you love the Sayyiduna Va muallimuna, Va Habeebuna Mohammed Bin Abdullah (Sallallahu Alaivasallam – SAW), PROPHET (SAW) and salute him”.

Dr. Ghalib, President of Kuwait based “Indo-Kuwait Friendship Society (IKFS), and President of Kuwait Kerala Muslim Cultural Centre (KKMCC) was earlier nominated as the Chairman of Al-Mashoor foundation flied from Kuwait to India specially for attending the Meeldunnabi Conference. He said that the feeding of the poor, blood donation camps and special gatherings in praise of the Prophet show clearly that how much affection and display of love towards Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him – PBUH). In a different speech by Dr. Al-Mashoor he said that from the readings of famous Islamic Traveler “Ibnu Bathutha’s Guide” that the “Kerala’s original name was quoted as “Khairullah”., that means there are so many : “ Allah almighty’s Virtues in Kerala”. Dr. Al-Mashoor urged Kerala Muslims to strictly follow the seerat-e-tayyaba, the holy life of the Prophet for success in life of each Muslim.
Many of the Islamic scholars asked Muslim youths for shouldering huge responsibility in protecting and promoting Islam. And spread the teaching prophet Mohamed (SAW) who served his life for protecting humanity and mankind
Shaikh Basheer Saadi, a well known Islamic Scholar said in his speech that Kerala has its two thousand year old association with Arabia. In Malyalam Thangal is an honorific Muslim title almost equivalent to the Arabic term Sayyid which is given to males believed as descendants of Prophet Muhammad. The present day Thangals are supposed to be descended from Sayyid families, who migrated from the historic city of Tarim, in Hadramawt Province, Yemen, during the 17th century in order to propagate Islam on the Malabar Coast. Sayyids selected coastal areas to settle. The royal family of Arakkal in Kerala had Thangal origins. Shaikh Basheer added that many of the Sayyid (Thangal) tribes are in kerala, who are the and that was the reason, Kerala is protected from various natural calamities and catastrophes similar to “Sunami and floods” etc…because Kerala especially Malabar area contain the highest concentration of descendants of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad named as “Sayyids”, and Al-Mashoor tribe is one of the greatest descendants of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
Swamy Premanantha, An eminent non-Muslim and The Chief priest of Shiva Ghiri Madem) spoke about Prophet Mohameed’s (pbuh) teachings and contributions towards humanity.

Sami Bubere, whose father was the contemporary of Late Moulana Abdl Kalam Azad, who is the Chief Editor of Mumbai based English magazine Indo-Gulf Times, and “Subhu Ummeth” a Urdu language magazine, as well as President of Sahyog Society of Mumbai, spoke about Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) in English language which was translated into Malayalam language by Dr. Ghalib Al-Mashoor. Scholars all reiterated in their speeches that The stature of the Prophet (PBUH) is great indeed;
“The personality of Mohammed! It is most difficult to get into the truth of it. Only a glimpse of it I can catch. What a dramatic succession of picturesque scenes. There is Muhammad the Prophet, there is Mohammed the General; Mohammad the King; Mohammed the Warrior; Mohammed the Businessman; Mohammed the Preacher; Mohammed the Philosopher; Mohammed the Statesman; Mohammed the Spokesperson; Mohammed the reformer; Mohammed the Refuge for orphans; Mohammed the Protector of slaves; Mohammad the Emancipator of woman; Mohammed the husband; Mohammed the father; Mohammed the educator; Mohammed the Law-giver; Mohammed the Judge; Mohammed the Saint and etc. In all these magnificent roles, in all these departments of human activities, he is like a hero! Orphan hood is an extreme form of helplessness and his life upon this earth began with it; Kingship is the height of material power and it ended with it! From an orphan boy to a persecuted refugee and then to an overlord, spiritual as well as temporal, of a whole nation and arbiter of its destinies, with all its trials and temptations, with all its vicissitudes and changes, its lights and shades, its ups and downs, its terror and splendor, he has withstood the fire of the world and came out unscathed to serve as a model in every face of life. His achievements are not limited to one aspect of life, but cover the whole field of human conditions.”

They added while saying that “Never has a man set for himself, voluntarily or involuntarily, a more sublime aim, since this aim was superhuman; to subvert superstitions which had been imposed between man and his Creator, to render God unto man and man unto God; to restore the rational and sacred idea of divinity amidst the chaos of the material and disfigured gods of idolatry, then existing. Never has a man undertaken a work so far beyond human power with so feeble means, for he (Muhammad) had in the conception as well as in the execution of such a great design, no other instrument than himself and no other aid except a handful of men living in a corner of the desert. Finally, never has a man accomplished such a huge and lasting revolution in the world, because in less than two centuries after its appearance, Islam, in faith and in arms, reigned over the whole of Arabia, and governed, in God’s name, Persia Khorasan, Transoxania, Western India, Syria, Egypt, Abyssinia, all the known continent of Northern Africa, numerous islands of the Mediterranean Sea, Spain, and part of Europe”.
If greatness of purpose, smallness of means, and astonishing results are the three criteria of a human genius, who could dare compare any great man in history with Prophet Mohammed? The most famous men created arms, laws, and empires only. They founded, if anything at all, no more than material powers which often crumbled away before their eyes. This man Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) moved not only armies, legislations, empires, peoples, dynasties, but millions of men in one-third of the then inhabited world; and more than that, he moved the altars, the gods, the religions, the ideas, the beliefs and the souls.
